Reflection
Thunder 91 Student Station Manager
Overall, my time spent at Thunder 91 has been very educational for me and has provided me with experience that I can take into the real world as I apply for jobs. I hope to become a producer at a radio station and I have already learned most of the ropes for that position while working at Thunder 91. This is as functional a radio station as one in a larger market so this experience is great for a resume.

Project Details
During my internship as Student Station Manager I was in charge of several different things. I made the DJ schedule for all of the volunteers, assisted with tailgates and several other events, and basically just assisted Cal Rollins (my mentor) with anything he needed.

As a co-host of the Morning Brew I acted as an on-air voice, prepped segments and interviews for the show and provided direction for my two other co-hosts during a two hour show five times a week.

In my position I was required to monitor the general happenings of the radio station and assist with any planning of events. I also organized the on air DJ schedule and assisted with any production for the station, as well as lead a 20 minute club meeting each week for volunteers.
